bindro · version 2026-08-12
Draft prepared [2026-08-12] — pending review by counsel; [bracketed items] are for counsel to complete.
Acceptable Use Policy
bindro.io is a self-serve ticketing and registration platform operated by [ENTITY NAME], a [STATE OF FORMATION] entity ("bindro", "we", "us"). You may meet bindro through any of our 20 vertical brand presentations. However it looks, it is one service and one legal relationship, and this one policy applies everywhere.
This policy applies to everyone: hosts (the organisers who run events and receive payouts), attendees (the buyers who register and pay), and visitors who just browse. It is part of our Terms of Service. Break it and the enforcement section below tells you what happens.
The short version
Run real events. Sell real tickets. Follow the law. Use the safety tooling the platform gives you. Don't use bindro to hurt people, move dirty money, or attack the service. If you see abuse, tell us: abuse@bindro.io.
Events and sales we don't allow
- Illegal events or sales. Nothing that breaks the law where the event happens or where the tickets are sold. This includes selling goods or services that are illegal to sell.
- Alcohol events without licences and age controls. If your event serves or sells alcohol, you must hold the required licences and run real age controls. Where your vertical provides the platform's age-attestation tooling, you must use it.
- Events for minors without guardian consent. Youth-facing verticals include a guardian-consent flow — the guardian countersigns from their own email. If your event targets minors, you must use that machinery. Working around it is a violation on its own.
- Weapons, drugs, or adult services. No selling any of these through bindro — not as tickets, not as add-ons, not as anything else.
- Fake events and fraud. Every event must be real, run by you, at the time and place you advertise. No phantom events, no bait-and-switch, no collecting money for something you don't intend to deliver. You must also honour the refund policy you publish for each event — the platform enforces that the published policy is the applied policy, and buyers can claim refunds within it on their own.
- Ticket resale at scale. No buying tickets to resell them in bulk off-platform, and no using bindro as the supply side of a scalping operation.
- Reselling the platform. Your bindro account is for your own events. You may not resell, sublicense, or white-label access to bindro itself.
Behaviour we don't allow
- Harassment and hate. Not at events run through bindro, and not in anything published on it — event pages, registration content, or messages. This applies to hosts and attendees alike.
- Spam through platform messaging. bindro's SMS exists for one-time sign-in codes and transactional booking messages only. There is no marketing SMS on this platform, and you may not turn any bindro messaging channel into one. No spam, no unrelated blasts, no misuse of attendee contact details.
Attacks on the platform
- Scraping. No automated harvesting of event data, attendee data, or anything else from bindro.
- Probing and breaking things. No vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, or attempts to disrupt the service without our written permission.
- Breaking tenant isolation. The platform enforces per-tenant database isolation — every host's data is walled off from every other host's. Any attempt to reach another tenant's data is a severe violation and grounds for immediate termination.
- Abusing the AI assistant. The assistant is read-only and can only file support tickets. Don't try to make it do anything else, and don't use it to fish for other people's data — it never sees health-class data in any case.
Money abuse
bindro is the merchant of record for card payments, processed by Stripe on bindro's account. Abusing payments doesn't just risk your account — it risks the platform for every honest host. So:
- No card testing. No running stolen or generated card numbers through checkout, at any volume.
- No money laundering. No using events, tickets, or refunds to move, disguise, or cash out funds.
- Nothing on Stripe's prohibited or restricted business list. That list is incorporated into this policy by reference. If Stripe won't process it, bindro won't host it.
A reminder from the Terms that matters here: chargebacks are borne by the host. If a payment from your event is disputed, the full disputed amount is debited from your host balance.
Enforcement
We match the response to the violation. The usual ladder:
| Step | What happens | When we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Warning | We tell you what's wrong and what to fix. | Minor or first-time violations. |
| Unpublish | The event comes down and sales stop until it's fixed. | Violations tied to a specific event. |
| Suspension | Your account is locked while we investigate. | Serious or repeated violations. |
| Termination | Your account is closed for good. | Severe violations — fraud, illegal activity, attacks on the platform. |
We can skip steps. Fraud, danger to people, or attempts to break tenant isolation go straight to suspension or termination.
Payout holds. Where money is at risk — suspected fraud, likely chargebacks, refunds owed to buyers — we hold host payouts while we sort it out. This sits alongside the normal payout schedule and any rolling reserve disclosed to you in-product.
Attendees are covered by this ladder too: an attendee who violates this policy can lose registrations and their account.
Where the law requires it, or where people are at risk, we may also report activity to law enforcement.
Reporting abuse
Write to abuse@bindro.io. Include a link to the event or content, what happened, and when. We read every report.
If your concern is about your personal data rather than abuse, that's privacy@bindro.io.
If we take action against you and you think we got it wrong, reply to the notice we sent or write to abuse@bindro.io and we'll look again.
The fine print
- This policy is part of the bindro Terms of Service. Hosts who take payouts are also bound by the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which is incorporated into their agreement with us.
- Stripe's prohibited and restricted business list is incorporated by reference and may change; the current list on Stripe's site controls.
- Governing law and venue: [COUNSEL TO INSERT — governing law and venue].
- Dispute resolution: [COUNSEL TO DECIDE — whether disputes under this policy go to arbitration, and in what form].
- We may update this policy. The current version lives at this page, and we'll give notice of material changes.
