# bindro — Independent movement teachers > Bindro sells places in yoga, dance and fitness classes for teachers who have no studio and no wish to pay a monthly software bill. A class is timed-slot inventory, students buy a single place or spend a credit from a prepaid class pack, sliding-scale pricing lets them choose what they pay from a range the teacher publishes, the register works in a hall with no signal, and the money reaches the teacher two days after the class ends. It costs 2.5% + $0.99 per paid place and nothing at all until someone books. Canonical page: https://bindro.io/vertical/class-booking-teachers/ Reviewed: 2026-08-09 ## Facts - Inventory model: timed slot. - Pricing models: flat, class pack, sliding scale, pay what you can. - Fees: 2.5% + $0.99 per paid place; free classes cost nothing. - Payouts: one payout per event, released 2 days after that event's LAST session has ended (low risk tier, 0% reserve). Never before delivery, and a class sold as a run of dates pays out once, after the final date. - Check-in: name list, works offline. - Joining: free, alone, in minutes. No contract, no monthly fee and no card at signup. A payout destination is verified before the first payout, never before the first sale. - Booking fee default: the student pays it. A teacher can absorb it or split it per class; the fee itself does not change with the choice, only which side of the sale it comes from. - Overselling is structurally impossible: inventory moves only under a row lock inside the transaction that confirms the order, with a database constraint behind that as a backstop rather than as the mechanism. - The number this vertical is run on: Class occupancy. Also tracked: pack utilisation, pack expiry rate, student churn. The console computes the north-star figure and prints the arithmetic under it, beside this teacher's own funnel with the drop-off at each stage, where the traffic came from, refund, transfer, turnout, no-show, add-on and repeat rates each shown with its numerator and denominator, gross, fees and refunds per class, live remaining capacity during the class, and CSV exports of orders and students. A step the platform cannot observe says so rather than reporting a zero. - Data export: orders and students as CSV from the console at any time, behind a fresh one-time code. No export fee, no notice period, no lock-in. - Required before checkout, enforced on the money path: Physical activity liability waiver. ## Not supported for this vertical - Monthly memberships and recurring billing — subscription billing is optional for teachers and is not resolved. Payouts settle per delivered class, so a membership charge would credit a balance the payout engine could never release. Subscription appears in this vertical's pricing models and is deliberately not sold. - Signing the waiver once and never again, anywhere — a signature carries forward within ONE teacher's bookings, for the same email address and the same wording, while the acceptance is still retained. A different teacher, a different address or a reworded waiver presents the box again, and the first booking always does. - Moving a student to a different date — deferral is not a capability this vertical declares. A student who cannot make it refunds and rebooks; there is no "move my place" button. - Handing a place to a friend — ticket transfer is optional for teachers and is not turned on, so a direct call is refused rather than silently ignored. - Gift vouchers — gift cards are optional here and not resolved. A class pack is the only prepaid product a teacher can sell. - Taking a card at the door — door POS is optional for teachers and is not turned on. A walk-in books on their phone through the same checkout, or the teacher records the place and the cash from the back office. - Selling mats, props or merchandise alongside a place — add-ons are optional for teachers and not resolved. - Teaching under-18s — minor consent is not declared for this vertical, so there is no guardian countersign and no under-18 gate on the money path. These classes are configured for adults. - Verified member pricing — nothing checks a student against a membership roster here, so a "members pay less" tier cannot be enforced. Sliding scale is the mechanism teachers use instead. - Instalments, invoices and purchase orders — not declared for teachers; a place is paid for in full at checkout or with a pack credit. - Collecting documents — there is no file upload here, so insurance certificates and teaching qualifications stay wherever they live now. - Being your studio management system — bindro sells places, takes the register and pays you. It does not run a room rota, staff payroll, a video library or a branded student app. ## Questions the landing page answers - What does a teaching week actually look like on bindro? - Can I sell a monthly membership or an unlimited pass? - What if I already use Momence, Punchpass or Eventbrite? - How much of this is already set up before I touch anything? https://bindro.io/vertical/class-booking-teachers/ ## Pages - FAQ (28 questions): https://bindro.io/vertical/class-booking-teachers/faq/ - bindro vs Momence: https://bindro.io/vertical/class-booking-teachers/compare/momence/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - bindro vs Punchpass: https://bindro.io/vertical/class-booking-teachers/compare/punchpass/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - bindro vs Eventbrite: https://bindro.io/vertical/class-booking-teachers/compare/eventbrite/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - Pricing a class pack that actually works: https://bindro.io/vertical/class-booking-teachers/blog/pricing-a-class-pack-that-actually-works/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - Sliding scale and pay-what-you-can, without losing the rent: https://bindro.io/vertical/class-booking-teachers/blog/sliding-scale-pricing-for-classes/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - Waivers and injuries: what bindro records, and what stays yours: https://bindro.io/vertical/class-booking-teachers/blog/waivers-injuries-and-what-bindro-does-not-do/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - Taking the register in a hall with no signal: https://bindro.io/vertical/class-booking-teachers/blog/taking-the-register-in-a-hall-with-no-signal/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - Filling a weekly timetable: terms, waitlists and the quiet weeks: https://bindro.io/vertical/class-booking-teachers/blog/filling-a-weekly-class-timetable/ (reviewed 2026-08-09)
